I'd buy the rights to the Stargate franchise from MGM with big plans in mind. First thing I'd do is remaster and edit (minor continuity edits like differences between the movie and show and make sure that "Unknown Traveler" appears AFTER the gate has wooshed, not gonna be like George Lucas) the theatrical movie, Stargate SG-1 (and 2 direct to DVD movies), Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe (ignoring Origins because that just ignores too much of the continuity and shouldn't be canon imo). After/while reworking everything up to 4k or whatever the resolution would be by that time I'd try to get together as many of the original cast and crew as possible and work on reviving as much of the franchise as possible. Direct show revivals would likely be too difficult so an animated mini series would probably be the best way to what has occurred in the franchise's universe since its gone off air to satisfy the original fans before starting some new live action series. I should also note that I'd try to get everything onto just about everything streaming platform the world over so that fans don't have to basically crowd fund it, just break even so I could keep the franchise going.
