So I just finished the Everything Sucks. It's a good watch, writing was ok, a little to reliant on nostalgic catch phrases, but some solid performances and some ok character development. Now here is what I can't get over. I went to high school in 1996, how do you have a show set in 1996 and not have 0 hip hop music, 0 hip hop style, not one pair of baggy jeans not have every dude rocking a ball cap? no timberlands? - am I wrong ? Was hip hop music not the dominant soundtrack in probably every high school in North America ? No wu-tang clan ? No Tupac ? No ATCQ ? Seriously, I felt like I was watching a TV show about a high school in an # alternate universe
