So I actually have avoided watching Suits because I heard they cancelled White Collar so USA could go through with Suits. Edit: (Obviously by the comments, it was not the same year but it was what I heard previously)

I just started Suits, because I have heard of the recent praise over the last year and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm only 3 episodes deep and it's just like White Collar except for the duo is opposite. Suits is clearly like Batman and Robin except lawyery. White Collar is like the movie Catch Me If You Can. Where the main character is the criminal and the back-up is the Cop

One of my biggest problems that I face is that they wrapped up White Collar so quickly just to start this show (that so far) is not as good. But they also use the same music and NY city energy which frankly pisses me off.

The second is the love interest. It goes from his ex best friends lover to the office assistant. I like Meagan Markles character (especially better than the ex best friends girl) but it's honestly pathetic because we can already see a future with her and Mike.

Lastly, I understand I may be judging too soon, but the art thief dynamic was so much better than just fighting in the court of law. In White Collar you had the best of both worlds, the criminal and the cop. And yes, Mike has a little criminal like how McCaffrey did, but it's not even close to the same. As Mike is giving that world up in episode 3 while McCaffrey fights with it the entire series as it's ingrained in him.

So far the best episode of Suits has been the first episode. As he has a bit of rainman yet none of the side effects? Obviously in real life he should be on the spectrum for being that smart. And I honestly think that would make his character not only more relatable but more interesting.
