People forgot that a heck of a lot of people watch content on their mobile devices (phones/tablets). Majority of them not having 4k screens (only Sony has 4k phones).

These streaming services know this and they know that the mobile market is bigger than the 'TV at home' market.

These mobile users don't care that they can't view 4k content since they won't notice a difference anyways.
