Hi all, I've always wanted to have a good telescope and since I'm a broke teen, buying one isn't an option. However, there are 9-12 inch concave "Feng Shui" mirrors being sold for around 5$ on Amazon where I live and I thought I could use them to build a reflector telescope. I'm aware of the fact that spherical mirrors do not focus all light onto a single point like a parabolic mirror, which is why they aren't suitable for telescopes. I don't expect perfect quality images, but would a telescope made from a regular concave mirror be worth the effort? Just how bad of an image would it produce?
