I suffer from panic disorder and caught covid 2 months ago. Ever since catching Covid my anxiety is through the roof, I've gotten several panic attacks and feel its crippling. It's worse than ever and has literally effected my entire life, I can't drive without getting an attack and I have ended up in the ER 3 times in the last 2 months because I feel like I was going to have a heart attack. Im talking chest pains, blurred vision, sweats, everything. Only for the doctor's to run exams and tell me my heart is fine. I was debating using this EZCare medical clinic as I have one in my city. I'm looking to try to get xanax or valium to be prescribed just to get me through this rough patch. Do they actually prescribe anti-anxiety through virtual telehealth appointments? They say they do, but would they require a previous prescription from a physician? (I know some of these telehealth companies do) I've been indecisive as I just don't want to spend $200 on a visit just for them to give me an anti-depressants like Zoloft as that just doesn't work for me
I actually did! No hurricane to blame here though. But i'm also seriously reconsidering continuing with them after this. They've sent me texts apologizing for everything since I picked up my scripts, but without doing anything to meaningfully show that they're sorry, like making my next follow-up appointment free or significantly discounted, I can't imagine finding another provider could ever be even a fraction as stressful and panic-inducing.
My appointment had been on a Saturday (10/1), and i still can't get over that after all the claims of "2-3 business/working days", then 3-5 days/working days, which eventually devolved to "your patience is highly appreciated!"
...... my script was ready for pickup at my pharmacy 8-9 days later (depending how you count 'em), ON A FRICKIN SUNDAY. I will say I was impressed that the prior authorization was already taken care of this time.
*also I realized during that appt. my PA knows literally nothing about panic disorder, agoraphobia, or how any of the drugs she's tried prescribing me actually work.
Safeway Pharmacy (so I assume Vons and Albertsons) will take them:)

..... are you me? but for real though, i hope you finally got your script, it's actually day 7 for me by now. not even my pharmacy calling and faxing ez care a request for my prescriptions has helped.
