I usually ask the lady who works the front desk to put me next to a wifi router and she's always been open to try. The internet quality has been slow on occasion, but I dont recall it ever dropping out completely on me while staying there. Usually it's a pretty decent speed, even when the hotel is fully booked, and I've stayed at this place quite a few nights in the past year or so.
This is one of my favorite places to work in Pattaya. It's not the best proximity to walking street, but I consider it an great base of operations cuz it's in the middle of walking street and Sois 7 and 8 which are great beer bar streets. It's real close to Central Festival, and across second street are a few nice places to eat.
The hotel does book out full sometimes, so I've gotten in the habit of calling ahead just to be certain there's room. I believe the number is on their facebook, or I had it saved from a previous visit. The owner speaks great english. The hotel doesn't have a 24/hr lobby, but there are biz cards with the phone number right outside the door you can call if you lost your keys. The pictures in the agoda link below don't really exaggerate the room like other hotels do. It's about as nice as you see there.
Pros
- Very nice rooms
- Great central location in between walking street and sois 7, 8, and dare I say 6?
- Internet Quality has been a decent speed pretty consistently.
Cons
- Not 24 hour checkin
- The massage shops nearby ended their pricing war of 99THB/hr massages.. heh was nice while it lasted
- Dtac 3G signal poor, AIS is fine I think. Can still receive calls/txts, just not 3G
My last visit: songkran 2012 Room Cost: 900B WiFi Quality: 2-stars
