It's such a shame this incredible budget hotel is spoiled by horrible packet loss. I tried to buy subscription packages at various levels including their highest level but I always got really bad packet loss. Youtube videos wouldn't load 100%, skype once in awhile sounded funny to other people, and when I work remotely on another computer, the typing on the keyboard would speed up and slow down randomly. Very very annoying.

Give it a try though if you don't work on remote computers. It might not be an issue for you.

As I said, it's such a shame there's horrible packet loss here because this place has some amazing amenities for around 700 baht a night! You get a pool, a pool table, sauna, fitness room, etc. The girls that work at the pool are freakin awesome. They'll stay open past the 10pm closing time if you're chilling and invite them over to drink with you. Sadly they removed the water slide at the pool hheheh (a cheap plastic waterslide that probably tipped over and hurt someone). Pool is nice on a relatively high floor and where you can chill and watch the distant lightning.

One thing to also note: this building is all the way down a road that seems kind of shady. I've never had a problem walking out at 3am, but I've had thai girls stay with me mention they wouldn't want to walk outside alone because they heard this road is dangerous. There's late night room service though so I think you should be ok being holed up for the night hhehe. Checkin is not 24 hours.

Pros:

• Awesome on-site amenities, including late night room service
• Great bandwidth speeds if only the packet loss didnt ruin it
• Pretty central area of bangkok (although you gotta connect thru the airport rail link)

Cons:

• Really really bad packet loss
• Not 24 hour checkin
• Questionable street

My thai girlfriend also requests I mention that many people have died at this building from pool drownings and suicide... hheheh she wants me to tell everyone about this so they will know why some thai people are scared about this building.
