Located fairly close to the beach (have to walk across the main road that cuts through chaweng).. this hotel had pretty good wifi up until the power cut out during a really heavy rainstorm on my third night. Obviously to be expected though on an island. However, the nearby 3BB wifi was still available and I could pay for access with my credit card. So this hotel still gets points for being so near a great backup wifi network. 3BB is a city-wide wifi network run out of a lot of the nearby convenience stores. 3BB is still pretty slow (perhaps also cuz the power was out in the hotel and everyone started using it), but it's better than nothing. When the hotel did have power and wifi, the internet speed was pretty good.

Pros:

• You're practically workin on a beach!
• 3BB wifi for backup

Cons:

• Power did go out during rainstorm (to be expected on an island..)
