The hotel itself has some pretty flakey wifi. It’s saving grace is across the street is a family mart, so if you get a room facing the street you can sign up for dirt cheap amazingly fast wifi with a strong reception. 3BB wifi is only 99Baht/mo ($3) and the connection is very reliable. Only downside is, you cant leave your laptop sitting there online for hours because they use a login dashboard that often forgets who you are and you need to relogin from time to time. Still, it’s a good option when you really are actively doing work.
As I said, the hotel wifi varies in quality. Sometimes it’s blazing fast and can run locally at 10down/1up. Other times there is horrendous packet loss and disconnects that makes it unusable. With the 3BB backup wifi though, it’s really not that big of an issue.
The rooms themselves are middle of the road to what you can find in pattaya and seem to be worth about 750Baht. There’s even a swimming pool here. It’s 5 steps from a family mart and just a bit further to various 99baht massages.
Pros
- Good wifi when you are actively working
- Lots to do on Soi Buakhao
- Swimming pool
Cons
- Not good for letting your machine sit idle
- Soi Buakhao a bit less convenient to reach when coming from anywhere else in pattaya
Room Cost: 750B
WiFi Quality: 4-stars (assuming you use 3BB and are not idle)
