Unpopular opinions about Telecasters ! (I'm gonna die on these hills)

- Toploaders > String-through (I have yet to hear a difference, so toploaders have my vote just for the aesthetic)
- I love the modern bridges too (so easy to intonate!), the 3-saddle ones are honestly the product of a shitty design
- Block colors on Telecasters are fantastic (Candy Apple Red ? Forest Green ? Seafoam Green ? Sign me up)
- Telecasters look better when they look pristine and BRAND NEW ! None of that artificially relic'd or naturally aged look for me, thank you very much!
- The neck pickup is the GOAT, it sounds wonderfully soft yet boomy in the bass, it still has enough bite for me, and it's even better when the guitar is tuned lower (e.g in drop C). Plus it's very useful for jazz when you roll the tone off. And I'm not even talking about the middle position!
