Shalom from middle America..
I had a group trip planned that was set to leave for TLV next week, August 7th. My cousin and I are flying El Al. The three other people in the group booked with United, and now are in a situation where they can’t afford to book other flights, and due to other obligations cannot book the trip further out.
My cousin and I are still wanting to go to Israel, and connect/reconnect with the land, people, our Jewish faith, etc.. While this trip will be two weeks, and due to the war and conflict we will limit travel to primarily staying in TLV and Jerusalem, I am curious as tot he current vibe in TLV. It’s been a long time since I was in Israel. I’ve always loved TLV, and while I know things are different, and have been changed since 7-10-2023, I worry that with the recent developments and the potential for escalation from Iran and its proxies that this could impact the ‘vibe’ of this great city. What is the general consensus? Should we plan to still visit, or perhaps push our travel out a couple weeks, and come after .. Tisha B’av?
I appreciate your insights..
Come over and enjoy. Stop worrying and giving the enemy what they want, to terrorize our lifestyle
