Sorry if this has been posted before.
Basically I lost my job etc so moved back āhomeā to the UK a few weeks after the war started.
Iām desperate to come back again and resume my life in Israel (ticket booked Dec 23rd) but Iām wondering if itāll be stupid of me and I should just wait an extra month or whatever until the war finishes.
For example - what is life like there at the moment?
How normal/acceptable is it to go out, date etc?
Basically if I did move back, would I just be miserable?
How easy would it be to find a job in the current market?
Lastly how long do you all seeing life affected for in tel aviv assuming things arenāt the same?
Thanks in advance.
Tel Aviv is very much back at living. Not normal like we used to, but living strong because we have to, or else terror wins.
And thereās a vibe in the air that I havenāt felt before, of unity, power, resilienceā¦if you donāt come now to experience it, I highly doubt it will remain for long.
Re places to go out and date, almost everything is open.
The only risk is sometimes running to the bomb shelter. But it becomes rare, very. Especially as the IDF is going into south Gaza.
Do your math, Iām a risk taker, experienced worth more than anything. Right now being here, is an experience like no other, sad weāre going through it, but itās unique like no other.
