If you were a Palestinian who wanted to oppose settlements and Israel-imposed restrictions on Gaza and the West Bank, how would you go about it?

7/10 is Nazi-level stuff. Islam has a genocidal antisemitism problem that predates the state of Israel (please ask me for the relevant hadith and I shall provide). Hamas has to be put down like a rabid dog. I greatly enjoyed reading Rise and Kill First, a history of Israeli assassinations. It's like a 750 pages long version of the movie Munich. Great stuff. I wish I could play video games of being a Mossad agent giving shaheeds their 72 virgins.

Settlements are steadily encroaching on Palestinian land. The West Bank is being disaggregated into town-sized chunks. Gaza has been in a chokehold. Trump and Israel found a way to make peace with surrounding Arab states while largely bypassing the Pals. Before this, Bibi, kooky zealots and thieving settlers thought they could gradually boil the Palestinian frog. Accusations of genocide are lies/hyperbole but it is a slow-motion expulsion of an ethnic group which is ethnic cleansing.

The argument I heard from Hamas is "What else can we do?". And while they gotta die, I still wonder: What non-terroristic opposition measure would you undertake if you were a Pal?

The one in Gaza is a complete shit show, mainly because Hamas is in charge of everything and indoctrination for terror.

In the West Bank the story is slightly different, it’s more secular but still highly corrupt (more than a western can imagine), society is fractured with different sects fighting (weapons, not business wise) each other for control/wealth, indoctrination for Jew hate is ongoing, terror militias aren’t being enforced against, leadership is full with antisemitism and denial of Israel.

All of that leads to a very broken society that can’t move forward on aligned missions and focus on success.

It’s simply impossible for any country to make sincere diplomatic efforts with such society. If you go and shake one hand, you might get stabbed by another, or you’ll find that hand caught off the next day.

No true ability to create trust and confidence.

That’s the biggest obstacle.

That’s what people who aren’t from here, or don’t understand the inner politics in West Bank, get.

Even the Saudis, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait (and many more) are getting tired of this nonsense. And they’re finding themselves closer to Israel, b:c Palestinian leadership is continuing to fail and discourage them.

As an Israeli I’m telling you, my biggest wish is for Palestine to be an amazing oasis, much reacher than Israel, with liberty, freedom, and luxury cars to all. But their own leadership isn’t inline with that.

It’s really really sad. And in the meantime, us Israelis can’t simply allow getting butchered and abused, we also have to safeguard our interests.

Let’s agree that all that was tried in the past, failed, both operationally (Palestinians can’t defeat Israel) and both diplomatic (all peace offerings were abused and refused)

If I was the leadership, I would move to “prosperity first” way of operating. Educating my youth to create and prosper, and focus on building an amazing country, even though the settlers around (which past generations are responsible for due to their wrong ways of supporting terror)

Within two generations, I have a strong, valid, prosperous, peaceful society. And then I can go back to the diplomatic effort of finding a constant solution.

Better odds that my efforts will yield good result when I’m coming with good intentions backed by truly functioning and capable society.
