Why do people care so much more about what’s happening in Gaza than any other conflict?
Post Body

There is an ethnic cleansing and genocide of Armenians going on in Azerbaijan, Tibet has been under Chinese occupation since the 50s, the Kurds have suffered far more than Palestinians (genocide in Iraq), the Uyghurs have experienced a genocide and Saudi Arabia has been killing Yemenis, leading to the starvation of children (with US support).

These are just a few examples of the horrific things going on around the world that nobody seems to care about. But when Israel launches an offensive war against a terrorist group (which tragically resulted in a lot of deaths) there are mass protests. Why do people consider Israel’s actions to be among the most horrific? There were almost no protests after October 7th. Is this really just antisemitism? Is it because Israel is a democratic nation? Is it because of animosity towards Israel in the Muslim world?
