I hate the debate posts about the lgbtq community; oftentimes people just use them as opportunities to be bigots and defend themselves by claiming itâs against nature or God. You donât need to debate whether human beings deserve human rights so please kindly be quiet about your âunique opinionâ. Also if I see the comment âthose people make it their entire personalityâ again Iâm going to drop kick your sink. Lots of countries and places donât have equal rights yet so we NEED to be speaking up about these issues and some people talk about it more than others as a means of self discovery. Even if you canât relate, you shouldnât be mocking people for accepting themselves in a group that has only recently become more widely accepted and still (as shown by the things some of you are saying) faces prejudice in countries with support already in place. Everyone is different so donât group people together for assumptions, if you say you donât âsupportâ LGBTQ people then thatâs good for you. I just hope you never have children, friends or family in the community. To put it simply, comments such as âI donât mind trans or gays but I definitely donât support them đâ are bigoted and show that you havenât taken the time to educate yourselves thoroughly. (Aside from the obvious issue here, it is also offensive to refer to transgender/homosexual people as a trans or a gay). If you disagree with me send me a message so I can ignore it and block you đ„±
My title also applies for acephobia, biphobia, transphobia and everything else btw and I hope this post is able to change someoneâs mindset <3
