Background: So my dad recently reconnected with his old friend. They were talking about how “the ocean sucks toxins out. I disagreed. The only points I was able to remember were “How would the ocean/salt water only suck ‘toxins’” and “That is point of a liver. Why would you need salt water?” He’s response was, “What do you know? Your a teenager.” Later, he came over and he said 5g could cause cancer. He had a few other anti-tech claims but they were mild and of them could be true. He pointed out a site, [www.takeyourpowerback.net](www.takeyourpowerback.net) Which is so obviously bs.
Point: I want to be able to convince him 5g doesn’t cause cancer. Without causing him to be submissive. I would like if any of you could give me a few talking points. Preferably with sources. Studies are going to be less effective because he believes that lobbyists convince the government to bias all research about 5g in favor of 5g. Logic-based arguments will work best. Scientific facts (particularly before 5g was a topic) will also work. However, any arguments will help.
Example of a logic-based argument: “Why does global warming get more attention than 5g if 5g is a problem?”
Example of a scientific argument: “5g is not ionizing, so it cannot cause cancer because it is not strong enough.”
Example of a Study-argument: “In the study ______ by ______ it concludes that 5g doesn’t cause cancer.”
My current strategy: to not announce my disagreement and slowly bring up my talking points.
My current points: see examples of logic and scientific - based arguments.
Thank you if you read this and an extra thanks if you gave/give/will give a talking point.

Edit: I am trying to convince my dads friend not my dad. My dad is a bystander. They are both boomers though.
