American Teenagers, How common is underage drinking in the states?

I want to discuss this a little.
So, I live in Europe (Sweden) and underage drinking here is pretty normal. The legal drinking age is 18, where you can also buy alcohol at bars and restaurants, and 20 to buy in liquor stores. But most people still start drinking at at least 15.
Since the legal drinking age is 21 and drinking seems more normal among young people in Europe than the US, how common is drinking at ages liek 15 in the US? What do you guys drink?
I'm going to drink with my friends tomorrow, So I was just thinking about this.
