Am I the only one who feels like the safe years of life are over? We are no longer in a part of life where we are shielded from the darker parts of life and we are now exposed to the darkness that life truly is. Our planet is dying and we as a people still do more damage than good and lots of people couldnt care less about the impact. Our generation really has no future and the average life span will probably go down as well due to global warming and pollution along with lots of our ocean and wild life are dying rapidly due to pollution and garbage. Lots of people in our generation dont want to have kids because itd be cruel to bring life into a world where they will most likely suffer more than thrive and i cant blame them, also do things also feel off to you? Like nothing currently brings you as much joy as it used to? Are your passions just fading away? Are you also losing a sense of what keeps you here? What your purpose is? Are you just feeling more numb everyday? You feel like the weight of the world is crushing down when in perspective we are less than .00001% of a speck of dust in existence with no real purpose. We have no Control What do we have? There is a small amount of things that we truly control Smaller than one would think. Almost everything we do or think is influenced by someone else What do we live for? To kill the planet? That's the biggest impact on anything we have so far Other than that those who are evil rule over while more people suffer than not Joy is an illusion. Freedom is an illusion. We only live to experience things But what purpose do they serve? The memories die with us and where do we go? Is there anything beyond illusions? Or do we cease. Will we not even exist in darkness? Will all traces of our consciousness disappear? We would not even realize it Will we be sent to heaven which again is another illusion of eternal happiness? If we realize that hell is an illusion will we still feel the torturous pain?
