How do I ask a girl out?

So I'm a 16yo girl. I think I like this other girl at my school but I dont know if shes into girls and I don't know how to ask. I feel like if I ask her then she'll freak out or think I'm weird. I also dont wanna ask her out straight up because she may think im weird. I dont know what to do or say. Please help a girl out? I think she's beautiful, incredibly smart, amazing taste in music and shes charismatic. I see so much goodness in her and I dont know what to do. All advice is welcome. Thank you all :)
