So last March I finally managed to get up the courage to ask out the girl who Iâve had a crush on since 6th grade. (I was in 9th grade at the time) And she said yes. I couldnât have been happier at the time but one issue was her parents. They were super strict and I could never spend time with her after school. So we spent a lot of time together at school which was really nice as Iâm mostly a social outcast at my school and barely have any friends. So everything went smoothly until middle of May when we got into a big fight over the phone. But it didnât last very long and we got everything sorted out by around the end of the school year.
During the summer one of my good friends who was also best friends with my gf texts me. (Weâll call the friend M) So M texts me that apparently my gf had been flirting with one of her good friends. I didnât pay it much mind at the time but after a while I decided to bring it up in a video call and she completely broke down saying she was sorry and that I should just break up with her since she was âboy crazyâ. Since I still really loved her I told her I didnât care if she was boy crazy. And I tried cheering her up etc etc.
So fast forward to the beginning of the next school year and we had broken up about three times over the summer from her being âboy crazyâ. About halfway through the first couple of weeks of school she came up to and told me that we needed to talk. She broke up with me. I was heart broken but now at this point I realize we were better off as friends. Before I asked her out we were best friends. Well I go to a small school with about 30 people in my class so I see her everyday. Since the break up she hasnât talked to me once and honestly I just want my old friend back... anyone got any ideas or should I just give up.
