For some preface Im a senior in high school right now and Ive been looking into going into another relationship with someone. I just wanna make sure I do things right because Ive been looking at this girl that I went to elementary school with up till 7th grade and then I took off to a different school and Ive been there ever since.

This girl then went to another school thats different and in elementary we crushed a decent amount but nothing happened. We kept up a little bit but havent really talked much. My main worry is just that she goes to a different school and I knew most of the friends that go to her school because we all went to the same elementary school and Ive been missing all of them lately too.

Would it be weird for me to message her just to kind of get to know her some more now? I kinda want this to work and I would hate to come off as kinda weird. The other school isnt far from me if anythings its actually closer. I pass it on my way to mine every morning and shes a senior in high school too
