I’m 19M, and I feel I have an important insight into how people should look at things/think about when jumping headfirst into a relationship. When I was younger, 12-15 all I thought I needed todo was date people and (I apologise for the sophisticated wordings here) Boink. I went from relationship to relationship without really falling for the people I was dating, When I was 14 I did the deed with my gf at the time, and well… at first it was great, and was for a while, but after that relationship I had another and another, and all I could think about was “why am I dating people for the sake of dating people?” I was honestly so burnt out on it, so around 15 I decided I was done with dating until I felt I found someone who could match me. And I eventually did, in November it will be 2 years together, and everyday I wish I had kept some firsts for her, my first kiss, my first date, my first time. She is my world, at first I was skeptical of myself, thinking I was jumping headfirst into another relationship. But over time that faded.
TL;DR don’t rush into things, wait, you don’t need to date anyone when you’re that young, if anything it makes you mature too fast, like it did for me. Stay young(mentally) as long as possible. and find the right person for you
