So there’s this guy who sits with our high school lunch table who says “gay people are against my religion”
Post Body

So I kind told most of the story in the title but there’s more to it . The issue is he’s a really nice guy but he’ll just offhandedly say “gay people are against my religion” and “by definition, what is a fgt?”. Now I’m not gay but it just makes me feel really uncomfortable around this guy . It’s like if you hear a white dude say “I hate n****rs” it doesn’t matter what race you are , you kinda know he’s a bad dude . I don’t actually know what his exact beliefs are , like if he just can’t be gay , or if he just can’t associate with gay people , or if he really actually hates them , believes they shouldn’t exist , etc. I do think it’s passed level 1 and 2 though because there was a couple instances where he refused to go to a party with a gay host , said he would need to leave our table if we kept making jokes about each other being gay. I haven’t brought the situation to a head yet and really asked him about it yet, so, what do I do here, he’s a really nice guy other than this so I don’t want to start anything but I really don’t want to be around someone who’s spreading a near equivalent to hate messages. Pls comment idk wtf to do.
