For some background context: I grew up living with my grandparents, but later on moved in with my mom at the age of 12. I am now 17 turning 18 in 2 weeks... I moved out almost a year ago and have been living in foster homes, group homes, and at friends' houses.

I have been out of contact with my mom for almost 8 months now, She hasn't been able to find me but something tells me she finally did...

I recently got a message saying "Hey (deadname) how are you? heard you're moving again. Love you xoxo sweetie" I blocked the number out of fear and deleted the message. The only people who should know about where I am are my workers and grandparents.

Did someone tell her? Nobody calls me "sweetie" or puts "xoxo" other than my mom, I can't go back to her ever again... I'm scared.

I left for a reason. But what if I have to go back...?
