Man I have definitely complained about TE, but of course the pricing on this got me. Fortunately I got a unit that has no issues and the workflow was extremely easy to learn. If you know your way around an OPZ, this should be really easy to pick up. Not the same, but similar thought process if that makes sense.

Overall I didn’t think I’d be this impressed with the device. It feels rock solid, my encoders and faders not flimsy band has a tight feel so definitely feeling fortunate. Totally feel for those that have had issues because aside from potential hardware issues, this really is everything I thought it might be from Cuckoo’s original demo. My only wants are a good sequencing song mode and maybe some timing parameters for the punch in fx.

I thought this was cheap enough to just try out and return if it’s not that great, but man I’m enjoying the shit out of it. I really hope they get their manufacturing better from all this. Even though they haven’t really acknowledged faults in the reported issues, hopefully they’re working on improvements behind the scene. The EP series and potential future releases is now something I’m most certainly interested. EPZ next please 🙏🏼.

Edit: one problem though, my fader knob doesn’t fit at all, not even close 😂. I put in a support ticket to see if they’re sending corrected knobs to people. Will report back when they respond.
