So long story short, I had a Zoom meeting with one of the faculty members for a community college I’m transferring to next term. So I guess my current college instructor who teaches Stage Management at my current school teaches stage management at the school I’m transferring to and she put in a recommendation to the faculty that I would be a good stage manager. So today’s Zoom meeting was to give me a chance to pick what show I wanted to stage manage which I wasn’t expecting at all and I went ahead and chose the musical they’ll be doing which will be Avenue Q! I’m so excited for this experience and if there’s any tips and advice I can get from anyone who has stage managing experience, please feel free to comment since it’ll give me an idea what to expect!
