Using keyboard macro's without an app

Hi,

I hope it is good reddit for this, but I would like to ask if its possible to have a numeric keypad or half-keyboard (like Razer tartarus), which would allow for user to setup certain keyboard macros (either preset text or keybinds) on one PC and use those on different one. I have regular PC of my own and a work laptop (both win10pro), but the laptop has admin lock from installing any outside applications. So I would like to setup some macros on my pc and then connect the device to work laptop and use those macros there. I have also macro enabled keyboard/mouse that I use but seems it doesn't have on-board memory (or it doesn't work as intended), since if i would like to use stored macros, it still requires me to install relevant app (either hyperx or razer).

Are there different types of on-board memory which would allow storing macros inside the device (to look for when buying)?

Are there any windows built-in options for macro usage?
