So a little bit ago I started getting problems with my PC's internet. Specifically, whenever I try to load websites or send files through discord.
YouTube, for example, took a good 10 minutes to load a single video. The League of Legends website doesn't ever load fully. Yet if I try to play an online game, join voice chats, etc everything is completely okay.
My speedtest info:
Download - 818.53 mbps
Upload - 906.84 mbps
Ping - 4ms
That doesn't seem like I should be having any issues.
I tried taking my ethernet cable out and plugging it into my laptop, yet my laptop can load these pages with no problem using the ethernet.
I reset my PC, thinking I had some sort of virus or bug of some kind. Yet the problem persists. This leads me to believe it could be a hardware problem? Specifically a motherboard issue considering I am using the internal network device on my motherboard. Any way I could perhaps check that?
PC Specs:
X570 AORUS Elite
GTX 3080
32 gb ram
Ryzen 7 5800x
I also ran out of ideas so I checked my temps for whatever reason, and yeah they all seem normal.
I would send an image of it, but I'm unable to. But it seems my ethernet shows spiking on the task manager when I am not doing anything. This is confusing me to no end lol. If anyone has some suggestions, I'd love to try them out!
