does ea desktop continues to download games if it crashes?

Ä° was downloading bf hardline and my pc froze on desktop. Ä° dont know if its continuing to download in the background but i gotta reset my pc. Will it continue from where it left off or will it start over?
EDIT: It didnt continue but it started from where it was left off...
