Hello everyone.
Recently my computer has developed a fault and im trying to figure out whats causing this. So what happens now is when I first press the power button on my computer after switching on the power on the wall socket my PC will instantly turn off.
It will then turn back on for about 5 seconds and then turn off, finally it turns back on again but this time giving me the American Megatrends page and giving me the option to load the BIOS which I do and click reset which results in the computer loading Windows as normal.
One thing to note is once the computer has been on and the wall socket for the PC hasnt been turned off the computer can be shut down and turned on again normally, its only when the wall socket for the PC is turned off that the fault results on boot.
One other thing to note is the time/date is wrong on boot as well which makes me think its the motherboard battery dying.
Any advice on what is causing this issue?
