I’ve haven’t had any issues with this computer like this before. I started running windows 10 (since 2018) until windows 11 launched I waited a few weeks then installed with no major issues other than figuring out what setting need to be tuned on in the bios for secure boot. This was all on a Samsung 860 500gb sata drive as the boot drive. I’ve purchased a 980 pro 2tb a few weeks ago and wanted to swap the boot drive to that. I cloned the disk and it would not show in the bios boot disk. So then I tried to fresh install both windows 10 and 11 to no avail. I had saved my bios user in the boards user setting before I changed to windows 11 and saved after I changed over in case I wanted to switch back. For windows 11 I made sure the drive was formatted to gpt and the iso will install on the drive but when I go to the bios nothing shows. For windows 10 I did the same thing and made sure it was in uefi boot and the drive shows up but when I boot it say “no boot drive found please restart and select boot drive” I’m not sure what to do at this point. Also, I can install windows 10 on the original boot drive and it will boot into windows no problem. I know I’m an idiot but idk what I’m missing. About to throw this computer off a bridge.
