need help blurry ps4 on TV

Hi I recently bought and set up a RCA 32" tv and started playing on my PlayStation with it connected to a HDMI cable. I played around with all the settings but my PS4 is still very blurry when I'm playing it. On the smart tv home screen everything is fine but when I switch to HDMI 1 my screen is pixelated and blurry compared to my old 2010 tv. Is there a way or reason why my tv isn't displaying a better picture
