So this started happening in phasmophobia on steam, has been ongoing for a couple weeks now, have tried all of the software fixes that I can think of, and now it started happening in other titles (trigon, observation duty 4) they seem to be unity titles will post my steam links and youtube links so you can see them!

this does not happen on FIFA 22, V Rising, Dragon Quest Builders 2, world of warcraft, Starcraft 2.

This thing is driving me nuts and I have a horrible feeling my GPU is imploding but the thing is, the glitches are always in the same place unless I change resolution and then they change their size and position but are in identical orientation to each other which is odd to say the least.

my rig:

Ryzen 7 5800X

TUF x570-plus (wifi)

32Gb Corsair vengence 3200mhz

Asus Turbo RTX 2080 8Gb

650w Corsair PSU

things i have tried:

reinstalling the games

resetting windows / fresh install

DDU GPU drivers

removed all overclocks from bios and GPUtweak

underclocked GPU

changed DP cable

changed monitor/turned off primary and then secondary monitors and then unplugged them to make sure

turned off G-Sync / changed refresh rates

flashing firmware for GPU (already had latest version so failed)

turned in game settings down/off such as bloom and chromatic abrasion

changed resolution (this actually got rid of it temporarily if I switch to a different resolution format like from ultrawide to wide but it comes back in the new format if I restart the program)

updated to 512.95 driver.

If anyone can help me it would save me a ton of stress thanks for reading my massive wall of text and I look forward to any replies. thx
