Hi Redditors,
Looking for a little bit of advice. I have recently noticed on my machine that it is using large quantities on Memory on nothing. I leave my computer on for long periods for my plex server and it seems that over the span of a day the memory fills up.
Currently my PC has 64GB of DDR4 ram , and Windows 11 is using 26.6GB of it, and that is desktop running and nothing else, apart from small windows processes like explorer and Edge hybrid tabs. The first time I noticed it it was at 33.7GB. A reboot seems to lower it back down to the usual 7 to 9GB but as mentioned it slowly winds back up to approx 30GB.
I have cleared system processes, cleared clipboard and made sure clipboard history is off and i have reset windows explorer multiples time to see if something is caching it.
