Woke up this morning, and turned on my PC as per usual. But, today, when my desktop came up it made a bunch of plug in/plug out sounds and flashed a quick notification about 'a problem with USB'. Didn't really catch it in time.
Now neither my keyboard nor my mouse functions. The mouse and keyboard themselves still react to being plugged in, turning their LEDs and stuff on, but there's no mouse movement on my screen, and I cannot open the start menu with my keyboard either.
I've turned on and off my computer multiple times, tried different USB ports, plugging in after the PC is already turned on, but to no avail. It's as if Windows just decided to disable all of my USB ports. Is that even possible?
I don't have any PS2 keyboard or mouse on hand, so I'm gonna go order a pair here in a moment because I don't see myself getting anywhere without that.
Anyone run into this before or have a solution? Thanks.
Edit:
Specs: Windows 10, i7, 64GB RAM, RTX 2070, and a bunch of SSDs.
Edit 2:
I managed to get into bios and now it works again? Okay?
