Potential malware causing Adobe update popup?

Post Body

Oftentimes on Windows startup I get a popup saying Adobe Flash Player needs an update, and if I don't install it, it will do so automatically in 45 days. To be honest, this has been happening for many months now and I can't find a lot about this specific looking popup except for this thread which has the exact same popup but, after a quick glance through, doesn't seem to clarify whether or not it's an actual update or malware, especially considering I thought flash player was supposed to be defunct by now? And if I do Windows Search for Flash Player it doesn't seem like I have it installed but I don't know if it would come up for that or if it would somehow be harder to find. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
