Headphones won't connect with audio?

I've had these headphones (COWIN E7) for about a year but didn't use them, but the headphones I was using stopped working so I switched to these about a week ago, but for some reason when I connect them to my computer they will only connect to audio input, and not output. They also appear as a phone device in my bluetooth listings, but that has always been the case. Any advice?
