Hi everyone,
I recently purchased an ASUS TUF RTX 3090 and immediately experienced a strange issue, my graphics card was no longer being detected. Thinking I hadn't plugged in one of the PCIE connectors properly I readjusted them and everything seemed to work.
Then the next day I started playing RDR2 on all graphics settings maxed out. I noticed the screen started to flicker and then my computer froze, forcing me to reboot.
Now graphics card is no longer detected, Windows 10 even made the sound of a device being disconnected when the crash happened.
Now I am getting no display but when I come back in twenty minutes the display is working again and the card is detected.
I sent the card back to the retailer but they are saying they haven't found anything wrong with it.
My instinct was obviously that the card was defective but now I'm thinking maybe my system is at fault?
Is it possible for this kind of behaviour to happen for any other reasons? Could it have even been the case temperature?
