how do I know if my laptops fans are failing?

i have a HP Pavilion 15-cs2096tx 8gb ram nvidia GeForce mx250 and i tried using open hardware monitor but it doesn't show me the fans speed. what concerns me is that i opened my laptop up to clean it and i feel like i broke them idk. the temps were about 46-50 degrees Celsius average with discord open and music player. i have 2 fans and i feel like one of the fans is failing cos i might have pulled the blades hard on accident
