I have been having an issue where online games have very frequent lag spikes, like every second so it looks like the game is stuttering, single player games are just fine. This only happens with a NVIDIA driver installed, after completely uninstalling the driver and geforce experience, there are no lag spikes in online games. After installing a NVIDIA driver without including geforce experience, the lag spikes seem to go away for either a day or 2, or a couple minutes, then they eventually come back through what I assume is some kind of secret windows or nvidia update even though i disabled automatic updates since i also noticed that NVIDIA control panel showing up on it's own coincides with the return of the lag spikes. This started happening after installing the latest driver even though it has been fine for a few months previously, installing a few different older drivers didn't change anything but like i said, installing a driver without including geforce experience seemed to fix the problem but only temporarily. I know they are lag spikes because it only happens in online games and looking at an ping counter it shows it going up and down every second. Can anyone please help with this? Thank you.
