After 6 long years, my very cheap HP Laptop that has a 20GB Storage Space (yes) has finally shitted itself and became unusable due to the number of updates it installed on itself over the year. There's 0MB free, that's the first time I've seen that.

She insists on using it because it's well.... very light. Which is funnily the exact reason why I bought it too like fuck I had sketchpads that were heavier than this. I just needed something to take notes in and run rudimentary code back in college and maybe play some games on an emulator (IIRC whole thing costed like $150 to $200).

Some investigation shows that after all these years, this gaudy piece of shit has been installing updates. JFC I just saw that it has the updated version of Microsoft Edge wtf.

Would it make sense to just buy a tablet or something? I really don't want to deal with the hassle of learning how to fix this and I'm very sure that the money I'll pay for someone to fix this would again, would be enough to buy an even sturdier tablet. IDK like there's probably a way to make this use a custom OS or some shit that's only purpose is to just load Netflix / Facebook / Youtube / Zoom but I'm not really the type of person right now who finds the prospect of that interesting.
