I built my first PC about 4 years ago, and it's been running fine. The other day I went to power it up, and nothing. Fan won't spin or anything. Naturally I figured my daughter might have gotten under the desk and yanked cords out, but after checking them all, along with the switch on the PSU I didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
I've tried using a new power supply cable from the monitor and still nothing. Just seeing if anyone else has any advice to try or should I start looking for a new PSU or motherboard? I'm running a Seasonic Focus 750 Gold and Asrock Z270 board.
The only other thing that occurred to me, is that our house is fairly old and ungrounded...we've been replacing wiring in each room as we remodel. Could a surge have fried everything?
