So I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit but I have some questions about this damn thing. So I recently got a Samsung S10 and it came with a USB that apparently does fast charging. It used to charge just fine and quickly charge the phone as it was supposed to. Fast forward a couple months and now for some reason the phone beeps as if the chargers being connected every couple of minutes and the fast charging seems wonky. The USB itself gets hot and I can hear noises coming from it sometimes and recently it's had that smell of hot plastic(I'm not really sure how to explain the smell).
Is the beeping because of something in the charger gone wrong?
Should I start looking for a new one?
Is it normal to hear some whining(Sounds like a whine to me) from the USB?
Any amount of help and solutions are appreciated 🙏.
