Hey all.
My PC is randomly freezing, usually when alt tabbing, but sometimes just when opening a new window (steam/chrome/windows/anything)
Sometimes it will unfreeze for about a minute then freeze again, others it stays frozen until I kill the power.
I'm not getting a BSOD or any error messages. There's no "Windows Shut Down Wrong" messages when I boot it back up.
Needless to say this is extremely frustrating and I'm about to blow a gasket. Please help!
Had my computer for just over 3 years, originally an Ibuypower pre-built which I have since upgraded myself in the last couple months.
Specs: Windows 10 Pro (64) installed on 970 EVO SSD 1TB. (New) [I also have two smaller SSD's and a HDD full of movies & pictures] Intel i7-10700k (new) 16gb RAM (3yr) MB- MSI Z490 Unify (new) Nvidia GTX 1080 (3yr)
Attempts to fix thus far: Memory check (clear) Multiple virus & registry checks Expanded "Paging File Size" from 7080mb to 10k-20k on HDD. Checked & updated every driver I could find.
