Urgent help!!! I can’t save my word document and it’s my paper due in two hours

I have just put the finishing touches on my paper that I have to submit tonight but for some reason when I hit save as to save it as a PDF nothing happens, no pop up to name my document or anything. I’m freaking out and I have no idea what to do

I’m running it on a MacBook Air 2016, to my knowledge the app is up to date. I’m using my university’s office subscription.

Please help!!

Edit: found a work-around with help from the comments :) but still can’t save word documents on my laptop...not the end of the world but really strange!
