PC can’t find home network

I’m having an annoying problem with my pc not connecting to my home network. I’ve tried updating the drivers, disabling and re-enabling the card, uninstalling then rebooting my pc, changing the power settings but nothing has worked so far. My laptop and phone can connect to the network I’m trying to connect to but the network isn’t even showing up on my PC. Other networks show up and even the 2.4 ghz band shows up but not the 5Ghz One. I have an ASUS dual-band ac-51 WiFi adapter in my pc that’s about a year and a half old.
