Hello, so here is the problem that I am currently experiencing.
I had a 512GB SSD installed in a PS4 and everything was running smoothly until the other day when I installed a new game. After doing so the system locked up and I was forced to remove the power cable, upon rebooting the PS4 I encountered a system error saying that the drive was unusable.
This has happend before and the resolution has always been to connect it up to a external enclosure and reformat it but this time is different and the drive is not showing up in explorer at all (am using Win 10) and when I go to partition manager it shows the drive greyed out and I am unable to delete the partitions.
I have tried using other programs to format the drive/change partitions but all of them are reporting what seems to be bad sectors/clusters on the drive.
Can anyone suggest any other things I can try or is the drive r.i.p?
Thanks.
