Hello guys,
Is there anyway to make Handbrake faster? Or would ffmpeg be faster for encoding .dav to MPEG-4? I'm pretty much capped on all CPUs with both machines I'm using... so this is mostly just a request if ffmpeg has a better algorithm (or a passthough encoding, which I've heard Handbrake doesn't have)
I've got a Linux and windows machine both encoding as we speak. Its taking forever. Unfortunately my client can only view files compatible with Windows Media Player, not the Lorex player that seems to be the only executable that can view these ridiculous files.
I've heard DAV files are just a variant of MP4 files. If there's some superior way to get those into a format viewable by Windows Media Player then I'm all ears.
