May be a stupid question but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway.
I have a PC in a shared office with my husband, we both use speakers for whatever we're doing and up until recently we played music on an Echo behind us through Spotify (Yay no ads!) and I liked to be able to control it from my PC...but now due to budgeting we've canceled our Spotify premium so I'm looking for something to fill the gap.
We could use Pandora through the Echo but that a) has ads b) is radio-type (can't seek out specific songs) and c) limited skips
so I'm thinking of converting our CD collection to MP3s but I have no idea how to do that AND have it play over the Echo. I would be fine playing it over my PC speakers but when I play a game I have to choose between game sound and music sound.
My idea was to route one .exe's sound to a bluetooth speaker and have the rest of my PCs sounds play over my connected speakers but I have no idea if that is possible. Am I stuck where I'm at or is there something I could do to make this work? Thanks!
